Reed Burr

Reed and his wife, Priscilla, live in Lakeland, Florida, with their two children, Malakai and Marleigh. The couple spent nearly two decades in East Africa as missionary kids before moving to the U.S. to pursue higher education. For a few years, Reed’s family lived in Ghana, where he discovered a passion for surfing. It was during that time that a CS chapter leader visited and gave Reed a Surfers Bible which radically changed his life. With a love for the ocean and surfing, Reed is excited to use his passion for media to share the stories of Christian Surfers.

For the past eight years, Reed has been working as a videographer, graphic designer and photographer for a higher education institution and marketing agencies in Central Florida. During five of those years, he led a team of students at a university in capturing the stories of the college’s campus through videos, photographs and designs. In addition to teaching students to excel in their fields, he was passionate about helping them discover how to best use their talents for God’s kingdom. Reed is excited to use the gifts God has given him to share the gospel and contribute to the mission of Christian Surfers.
