The Lord Is A Rewarder

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

 Hebrews 11:6 ESV

Have you ever been on a surf adventure where you’ve researched the new spot, watched the swells and gone out of your way to try to score some epic waves? Usually you only do something like that if you believe that you will find something worthwhile. The main thing that drives a search is faith that you will find something epic. This is the same I found with my relationship with God: the times in my life where I believe that the Lord wants to speak to me and truly seek it out, are the times I have seen his opportunities and heard his voice in my life. Sometimes we don’t see the opportunities God has given us or how he’s leading us because we don’t really believe he has something amazing planned for us. I challenge you if you feel like you’re lacking faith, ask God to give it to you! Be expectant that the Lord IS a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, he has abundant life for you.
