East Coast Girls: JAX Campout

There’s a massive event called “Super Girl Pro” It happens twice a year, in two different spots… one in California, and the other in Jacksonville, Florida. The event is a series of all women action sports. You name it, they have it: Beach volleyball, skating, beach soccer, etc. Over 35 girls came together from all along the east coast to camp and cheer on girls from all over the country in their action sport of choice.

When we weren’t hanging out at Super Girl Pro (which was about 30 minutes from our campsite) we were roasting marshmallows, eating food that was cooked over the campfire and hanging onto our tents for dear life! The wind and weather were crazy! We went from warm sunny 90 degree Florida to crazy Nor’Eastern rainy weather. The diversity we had within this trip was EXACTLY what the vision within Christian Surfers Girls is! We had moms that had never camped in their life, but wanted to come with their daughters. We had girls that were 12 years old and it was their first campout without their parents, and we had girls in their mid- twenties that were avid campers. Christian Surfers Girls is a place for all women of all ages, with all skill levels. It was beautiful seeing that represented at the campout!
