CS Girls Campout: East Coast Campout

This past May, was the very first official all girls only campout! The campout was in Wrightsville Beach, SC and there were 25 girls on the trip. The original plan was to camp out on an island, that was only accessible by boat. On the island, the girls would surf, fish and campout in tents. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas. A huge storm rolled through the night they were supposed to go out to the island. After a little scrambling, all 25 girls ended up camping out inside a single airbnb. Almost everyone slept on the floor but the girls had a blast.

Cooking s’mores over the stove, led worship in the living room, and just had a fantastic time. Even though, conditions were not the greatest. These girls powered through and ended up having an epic beach day, once the storm cleared, the following day. The girls had so much fun that they’re already asking when and where the next one will be. It shows it does not matter where the trip is or what activities are planned. The greatest part is just everyone being together. Supporting each other in and out of the water.

A quote from one of the girls “It was great to be with a group of ladies that wanted to surf and do things together and I feel like everyone wanted the same thing. Praising the Lord and growing in Him is what this weekend was about.”
