[Hometown] Hedgesville, WV - the list is too long
[Life Goals] I desire to be a disciple maker training, modeling and by acting as a catalyst to my ohana, surfers and the lost in order to create radical Jesus people.
[Best part of the Panama trip]
The best part of the trip has been hearing the stories of the impact that the training has had since people returned home. Another awesome point was the young man that embraced Jesus as his savior while filling out the application to attend Prep School.
[Funniest Moment on Trip]
One of the funniest thing that happened in Panama was when Tom Curren used a remote to try and turn me off after a marathon training session. The daily interaction and general light hearted mood kept me laughing deep and often. One really cool moment was when we stopped at a restaurant and they had clothes hanging on the line and one of the shirts was a Christian Surfers tee.
[Who dropped in on you most during Panama?]
Jason Andre was definitely the snake king. But, it was all in good fun. Although the most memorable was being cut off by Tom.
[Things learned in Panama]
I was reminded again of the potential of young people to impact the world at a deep level as God uses them.
[What are you doing differently now that you’re back?]
I'm more intentional about loving my own children and not just other peoples.
[Are you going to Prep School next year?] I can't wait for Prep School '09.
[Thank You's]
I'd like to thank all the leaders that came and served. I'd like to thank Nic
Mclean, who not only caught it all on tape but added a great deal to our trip, Timmy Whiting for putting music in my head that will never leave, the Curren family for being so real and fun, God for keeping Jason, Lockwood and I safe
as we chased that gator. My wife Amy and our sons Adyn and Kael for letting
me drag them around the world - 6 hours in a plane, 12 hours on a bus and 6 hours in a car.
