[Best part of the Panama trip]
The crew of guys and gals that came were really awesome, Ana and I really miss everyone. Going over to the small island singing worship songs with the school children was pretty incredible! We felt like one big family sharing great Bible teaching time, alot of laughs with all the groms. We had both good and bad waves, but it was super fun surfing with everyone regardless of the conditions! Thank you Lord for the awesome time with you, with our group,
and with the people of Panama!!!
[Funniest Moment on Trip]
The grom torture with rubber swords was classic! Jason and the boys chasing the saltwater crocadile was crazy!
[Who dropped in on you most during Panama?] Ana, just kidding, I actually did promise her the best waves when they come to us in our wedding vows!!!
[Things learned in Panama]
One lesson learned when we broke off into smaller groups drawing a little mascot surfer together. Later, we used critical words about how those paper mascot guys looked, surfed, dressed, etc... We ripped a piece of them off with each tearing remark, thoroughly ripping them apart both verball and physically. We reassembled them with complimentary and apologetic words, and tape. But, they definitely never looked the same! We learned a pretty convicting lesson. Our words can really tear apart or encourage others. Unfortunately, when we tear people apart they are never really the same. Just take a moment to read the 3rd chapter in the book of James in the Bible. It's all about our tongue, it can be used to build people up or tear them down!
[What are you doing differently now that you’re back?] Working, ha ha ha. No, just praying to be that instrument of God to encourage not tear down.
[Where do you think the prep school should be next year?]
My vote is for the Outerbanks or Nova Scotia?
[Are you going to Prep School next year?] I hope so, it was unreal!
[Thank You's] Big thank you to all the cool folks who organized the trip and served us there in Panama, thank you Lord!
