2007 National Conference

FAQ's

Q: What does the daily rate include, and why would I sign up for this instead of the whole conference?

The daily rate includes every conference event except food. The daily rate was set up for people who would like to attend the conference, but can only come for one or two days. There is a maximum of two days you can register for this rate. For 3 or more days, you cannot use the daily rate.

 

Q: What is the schedule?

Wednesday Oct. 17 starts off with registration at 3 p.m. and then snacks at 5 p.m. followed by the Opening Ceremonies at 6 p.m.  Each day starts with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by worship, speakers and workshops till 11:45 a.m. — we break for lunch and surfing time and each day has different afternoon events and evening concerts,  building to the final speakers and the premier of the film by Walking On Water.

 


Q: Where is the location of the conference?

The conference is at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral, Fl ~ www.radisson.com/capecanaveralfl , but we all call it Cocoa Beach, Florida.

 


Q: Is there a special rate at certain hotels?

There is a conference discount at the Radisson, The Four Points Sheraton and the Holiday Inn.  To obtain the discount, mention the Christian Surfers conference when booking.  

 


Q: How do I get from the airport to the conference site?

Car rentals are suggested-carpooling with others from your area is even better--depending on the time of arrival there may be buses or shuttles available for a fee.

 


Q: How do I get a backpack?

Register before August 31st!!!

 


Q: Who is going to be at the conference?

Christian Surfers from all over the country and their friends.

 


Q: How much does the conference cost?

$249

 

Q: What goes into the cost of the conference?

Worship, Keynote speakers, ministry and personal workshops, two concerts, Walking on Water movie premier and a refreshing, renewing, and encouraging time with others in ministry from around the US.  (which, is Priceless…)  Coffee and pastries in the mornings and dinner Saturday evening are included as well.
