Hello all;

First of all, thanks to everyone that came out to support Go Skate Day in Hampton last week.  There were about 300 skaters and a bunch more friends and family there.  We gave out a pile of bibles and Noah's Arc videos at the Christian Surfer's tent and met alot of great people.

 

For the month of July, we will meet on Thursday July 5th (July 4th falls on Wednesday) and again on Wednesday July 18th. 

 

Anyone wishing to carpool over, meet at Mike's Surf Shop at 4:15.  If you will be needing a ride, please respond to this email or call Kathy @715-3553, so that we will be sure to have enough drivers.  Everyone else, get to the beach as soon as your schedule allows.  We will surf for a couple of hours, then meet on the beach for dinner, fellowship and a continuation of our bible study on Simon Peter.  Bring your bible, bring your board (if you have one) and bring a few dollars for dinner.  Most importantly, bring a friend!!!  If you or someone you know would like to learn to surf, come out and get a free lesson from one of our seasoned veterans.  The water feels great. 

 

If you are coming to the beach, we will be located around 45th street, just look for the blue tent with the Christian Surfers banner, and of course it will be easy to spot Mike Monteith scoring huge barrels right out in front.  I look forward to seeing you July 5th and 18th as we share ocean water and living water.
